Sallie is a mixed media artist working primarily in watercolor. Her whimsical and colorful creations include large paintings, mask-making, and greeting cards. Influenced and inspired through international travel, Sallie's art often reflects that of the Asian world. "Listening to music while I create has a tremendous impact and influence on the process and outcome of my paintings," thus, the ecclectic style due to her love of all styles of music.
Sallie is a successful artist working with children and youth, bringing art into the classroom through the Art Connections program. She has been involved in several mural projects within the community. Her projects with students typically involve education and awareness around cultural diversity.
You can find her art at A-Loft Gallery in Prescott. Sallie has been involved with "Made In Clarkdale" for years, exhibiting her work at the annual December show as well as "Made In Clarkdale" art gallery at the Verde Valley Theatre Productions. Sallie is a long time member of El Valle Art Association.
Her art is recently showing and selling in Richmond, VA. Sallie's art can be seen in the Sedona, AZ area at the Art Mart. Sallie has sold cards through The Meadows in Wickenburg and Cottonwood de Tucson in Tucson. She participates in several shows each year. Patrons from all over the country enjoy her art.
